A man and a woman have been arrested in the death of a man shot in Moreno Valley who also dated her, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.

On Jan. 28, sheriff’s deputies responded to a on the 13600 block of Red Mahogany Drive before 2 a.m.

Roshadd Johnson, in his early 40s and a Moreno Valley resident, was found injured and taken to a medical facility, where he died. A second victim was injured in the shooting, court records show.

The Sheriff’s Department obtained an arrest warrant for Michael Dwight Harris, 34, of North Las Vegas on March 6 on suspicion of killing Johnson and attempting to kill the other person.

The night of the shooting, investigators said, Harris rang the Ring doorbell at Johnson’s residence. Once Johnson opened the door, Harris shot five times, a sheriff’s investigator’s declaration in support of the arrest warrant says.

Phone records placed Harris near Johnson’s home during the shooting, and afterward he went to his Victorville home, the sheriff’s investigator’s declaration says.

Photos of Harris on his social media showed a likeness with surveillance footage from the shooting, according to the arrest declaration, which also says both men had the same 34-year-old girlfriend, Tatiana Tene Parks.

On April 8, Harris and Parks were arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of murder and accessory to murder, respectively, and booked into the Clark County Jail, authorities said. They were awaiting extradition to California.
