Noteworthy: Brewer captured three individual titles at last week’s Cross Valley League track and field finals held at Riverside Prep. Brewer posted a time of 15.37 seconds to win the 110-meter hurdles title for the third straight year, and he cleared 5 feet and 8 inches to claim the league’s high jump championship for a second time. He also won the 300-meter hurdles title, posting a time of 43.82 seconds. Brewer, who also is a standout on the football and basketball teams, is the defending CIF Southern Section Division 4 champ in the 110 hurdles.
