The event will feature music, food, vendors and of course, plenty of beer.

Food will be available from , and .

There will be a cigar lounge.

A pair of DJs, J3RiB0i and Frank-O’s Vinyl in Motion, will spin outside and inside the brewery, respectively, and at 7 p.m. Tequila Mockingbird will perform.

The brewery will be closed on Sunday, April 28.

Our Brew is at 2351 W. Lugonia Ave., Suite B.

Tamale Festival returns

The returns from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at White Park, 3936 Chestnut St.

The festival is a fundraiser for and helps promote awareness of the , a nonprofit dedicated to safeguarding the , recently recognized as one of the 11 most endangered historic places by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

In addition to tamale tasting and competitions, the event also features other Mexican food, along with music, dancers and other entertainers.

General admission are $20, but you can save $5 with the code “History.” Tickets for seniors, military, students and teachers are $10 (plus up to $2.45 service fee if purchased online), and a VIP experience is available for $100 (an $8.39 service fee applies if purchased online).

Miguel’s Jr.’s new ingredient

has added birria to its menu.

The seasoned meat stew is available in three new menu items.

Birria queso tacos features two tacos with Jack cheese melted on a corn tortilla, filled with birria, cilantro and onion, and is served with birria consommé. It sells for $8.69.

The birria quesadilla is a folded 12-inch flour tortilla filled with Jack cheese and birria, is served with birria consommé and costs $8.99.

The birria plate features a portion of birria meat served with rice, beans, 5-inch corn tortillas and a regular fountain drink. It’s priced at $12.50.

Farmer Boys’ burger deals

has brought home the bacon for its latest burger meal deals.

For a limited time, the chain has two deals that highlight bacon: The Bacon Big Cheese Box and the Bacon Boy Box.

The Bacon Big Cheese Box features French fries, a drink and a bacon big cheeseburger, made with a quarter-pound beef patty topped with hickory-smoked bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, diced onion and house-made 1000 Island dressing. It retails for $9.99.

The Bacon Boy Box features French fries, a drink, and a bacon boy burger, made with a half-pound beef patty topped with extra bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, and house-made 1000 Island dressing. It sells for $11.99.

Both deals are available through early July.

Fresh air for charity

is selling pineapple-scented air fresheners and donating the money.

The Pineapple Express air fresheners cost $2 and 100% of sales are donated to nonprofits “who feed, educate and empower youth,” according to the chain.

The air fresheners are available to order online or via the chain’s app, as well as in-store.
